I made this graduation cake for Jesse. He was graduating from 5th grade. He requested Red Velvet Cake, Chocolate Cake Pops, and Vanilla Cupcakes with Apricot Filling and Vanilla Buttercream. His mom set up a beautiful display at their home.
I met this wonderful family because I found their business when I needed service on my VW. They did an excellent job on my car and have become great customers. They all love desserts and parties. Obviously Jesse is taking after his Dad and loving cars too. The cars on the cake are from his own collection and he picked these out special for me to put on his graduation cake.
Congratulations Jesse!!!

WEDDING CUPCAKES & A CUTTING CAKE
These cupcakes and small wedding cake were made for Jennifer & Roberts wedding at the La Quinta Resort in La Quinta, California. The flavors were German Chocolate and Lemon Poppyseed with Raspberry Buttercream.
The small wedding (cutting) cake was vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream filling.
Everything was to be placed on to a cupcake stand with the cutting cake on top. I did not get to place it on myself as it was a hot day and everything had to be kept in the refrigerator at the venue until closer to serving time.

BABY SHOWER TOPSY TURVY CAKE
This cake was done for a baby boy shower. The bottom layer was carrot cake, the middle layer was chocolate, and the top layer was coconut. They all had buttercream fillings.
People ask me all the time how much time these type of cakes take to make. I roughly figured that this cake took about 48 hours to make. Truly a labor of love.

LAMB THEME BABY SHOWER CUPCAKES
These vanilla cupcakes were made for a boy baby shower with a lamb and flower theme. It is hard to see in the picture but the flower cupcakes were a two toned blue to match the invitations.
My client loved them when I delivered them to her beautiful home in Palm Springs.

MILE HIGH LEMON CAKE
Mile high lemon cake and lemon meringue pies for a party last night. The cake was about 10" high and built onto a cake stand. It was the most nervous I have ever been delivering a cake. Thank goodness it got to the party without toppling over.

PINK CROWN BABY SHOWER CAKE
This adorable cake was made for a baby shower. The flavor of the cake was red velvet with cream cheese frosting. They also ordered peanut butter cake pops and vanilla and apricot cupcakes. Silly me I forgot to take pictures of the cake pops and cupcakes.
I just received this note from the person that put the shower on.
Hi Pam
I would like to thank you for baking such delicious pastries for us for the baby shower on Saturday. I can't tell you how many people were impressed with the cake. They just loved it! She loved it so much she was not too happy about cutting it. She did save the crown though. Thank you so much Pam! It was a beauty.
Thanks,
J.Escobedo
